The Holiday Season is here and everyone wants to look their best at the office party or family dinner. With my hectic schedule, I’m always looking for easy, but effective ways for my final look. This includes hair and makeup. If you’re a busy body like me, here are simple ways to look cute and get that perfect holiday glow this season.

Quick and Easy Holiday Hairstyle

As a self-proclaimed lazy natural, the easier the style the better for me. I chose to do a braid-out on stretched hair using Pantene Pro-V Truly Natural Hair Co-wash and Defining Curls Styling Custard. After stretching my hair overnight, I made 8-10 braids in my hair and let them dry overnight. After applying a light oil to my hands to reduce frizz, I unraveled each braid the next day, showing a well-defined braid-out. The Pantene products cleansed my hair and provided great slip when finger detangling. Did I mention I used no heat? Winning!

Simple Holiday Makeup Routine

If you’re like me and don’t wear makeup to work, make sure to have some beauty essentials at the office to get ready for those after-work holiday parties. I did my makeup for the first time without a foundation using a primer as my base, a rose-colored blush, and a bronzer. It’s not necessary, but the strobing method using a highlighter will definitely increase your overall look. Add a golden eyeshadow and eyeliner to the eyes and finish the look with a light gloss or lipstick.

To have the perfect holiday glow, you also need a fresh body and a nice smile. To achieve this, I used the Olay Ultra Moisture Body Wash and Crest 3D White Strips Combo Pack. Since we have some time before the December holidays, you can use the Crest 3D White Strips Luxe every day for 30 minutes. Thanksgiving is one day away, so I opted for the 1-hour express strips.

Because of my hectic schedule, I choose to shop in bulk at my local Costco. A huge benefit to buying in bulk at stores like Costco is getting more product for the amount of money spent. Costco is also a convenient one-stop-shop for me to buy food and household goods for upcoming holiday dinners and events. For regular days, there’s no need to repurchase toiletries last minute, saving time and embarrassing moments with potential house guests.

Ive really been wanting to try those Crest strips. Will look out for them in the store. And I haven’t heard of the Pantene product you used, but I love the Pantene Curly lines, so I’m going to look out for this custard as well.
