Taking public transportation to work and being a frequent traveler, it can be easy for me to get sick being exposed to all those germs. One way I prevent being sick year round, especially with the season changes is eating better and resting when needed. Part of my healthy eating habits is having breakfast daily. If I do find the time it is usually a smoothie. I also add Emergen-C to my breakfast smoothies sometimes because it is an easy and delicious way to take vitamins that are important to my healthy lifestyle. I purchased Emergen-C Super Orange from my local Walgreens to mix in my Banana Berry Breakfast Smoothie. Here’s the process to make this banana berry smoothie with Emergen C.

  • Emergen-C Super Orange – 1 packet
  • 6 oz. fresh blueberries
  • 1 cups coconut water
  • 1 banana

How to Make a Banana Berry Breakfast Smoothie

  1. Add ingredients in the following order: coconut water, Emergen-C Super Orange, banana, blueberries, and blackberries
  2. Blend on high speed until smooth.
  3. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

I do the same thing and I add ginger during the colder months. I also take my vitamins and sleep. All are extremely important.

I love having othies for breakfast as it’s a great way to get your daily dose of fruits and veggies. Haven’t tried it with emergen, tho. Might have to give it a shot!

I love trying out different smoothies anytime and a combination of banana, blackberries & blueberries sounds amazing. I have never used Emergen-C before with a smoothie, but would try next time!
